Post Consumer Brands is hiring an Associate Shopper Marketing Manager to lead Shopper Marketing programs at Walmart. The purpose of this role is to foster a deeper relationship with the retailer by building robust brand plans and focusing on how to strategically build brand equity.
Candidate must be comfortable working with cross-functional teams in brand marketing, shopper marketing, sales and consumer insights and externally, with partners and agencies on concurrent projects. Candidate needs to be driven with a high bias for action. Most importantly, the candidate should feel comfortable working independently and navigating through ambiguity.
Lead strategic planning of annual shopper marketing programs to achieve brand and channel growth targets
Collaborate with brand, sales/customers, and agencies to integrate shopper efforts with other activation types
Manage agencies, 3rd party vendor relationships, and strategic partnerships to flawlessly execute approved programs
Communicate shopper programming plans and impact, primarily via program sell in with customers, integrated marketing calendars, and post program reporting
Flawlessly execute shopper programs, including measuring and analyzing program effectiveness
Manage shopper budgets, test-and-learn opportunities, and contingency plans
Education: BA required
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience, Marketing, Brand or Retailer preferred

Ability to communicate effectively

Knowledge of consumer-packaged goods industry and account specific marketing
Experience in digital marketing and understanding of consumer behavior in this space
Knowledge of consumer path to purchase
Shopper Marketing vehicle familiarity
Ability to effectively manage third-party (supplier) resources
Prior experience developing strategic shopper marketing plans brick and mortar and e-com is preferred
Prior experience with 3rd party providers, including Kroger 84.51, Quotient, Inmar, Ibotta, Catalina, and the News America suite is a plus
Work Structure: Reports to and takes work direction from the Shopper Marketing Manager.
Internal: Contact with numerous functional areas in corporate offices
External: Primary external contact is with retailer and third party vendors.
