JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
Check all monitors and notifiers.
Observe temperatures and fans on the computer visually.
Close and open gates as needed.
In case of power failure, see that generators start up and shut down properly.
Check irrigation when in use.
Follow all Bio-Security procedures.
Alert the Sanitation employees when there are severe weather conditions.
Carry radio for communication.
Drive company pickup during rounds around the farm.
Janitorial work to include but limited to sweeping, taking out trash, mopping, etc of offices, restrooms and break area and occasional laundry duties.
Notify supervisors on call if needed by radio.
Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Licenses, certificates, registrations:
Must have a valid driver’s license
Other skills and abilities :
Must be safety minded and have a thorough knowledge of all safety procedures.
Must be able to monitor gauges and computers.
Able to work independently.
Able to analyze situations and establish priorities.
Ability to safely lift 50 occasionally.
