The Packaging General Utility plays a critical role as a part of our packaging department. Our Packaging General Utilities perform essential work assisting on the packaging line, which includes hand packaging, and supporting with sanitation services.
Duties And Responsibilities:
Assists in performing in-depth cleaning of assigned equipment.
Assists in operating semi-automatic case packaging systems, such as the twenty-inch line and tote line operations.
Assists Machine Operators with the loading of cartons and corrugate.
Performs hand casing of various sizes of retail and food service items.
Hauls trash and corrugate when needed. Makes corrugate bales as needed.
Maintains sanitation and other HACCP documentation.
Other duties, as assigned
Education And Experience Required:
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and overtime
Preferred Education, Experience, And Skills:
Previous manufacturing experience
Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment strongly preferred
