Position Summary:

Our Inventory Specialist is a key part of the Warehouse department and team. The inventory clerk keeps count of our products and cycle counts, ensures that company inventory remains balanced, assists in maintaining inventory records, and provides the information to management and internal customers as necessary.

Duties And Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates inventory information with warehouse, scheduling, and purchasing

  • Maintains an inventory system to track product received, deliveries and adjustments

  • Performs inventory cycle counts, makes accurate adjustments, and reconciles any discrepancies

  • Prepares and completes inventory counts for month-end

  • Receives all incoming shipments, inspecting for order completeness and damages, and matches to packing slips

  • Performs clerical support work as needed

  • Other duties, as assigned

Education And Experience Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution

  • Must have experience adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing whole numbers

  • Previous experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and overtime, as needed

Preferred Education, Experience, And Skills:

  • Previous experience reading and interpreting inventory reports, sales reports, and packing slips.

  • 2+ years manufacturing and/or inventory experience

  • Works well with a team

  • Manages time efficiently

  • Demonstrates strong organizational skills

  • Pays close attention to detail

  • Communicates clearly and effectively

  • Demonstrates professional and polite demeanor with customers

Physical Requirements: Qualified candidates must be able to perform the following physical job requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation:

  • Must be able to work in hot, humid, and cold manufacturing environment

  • Must be able to work in crowded spaces for 4+ hours per shift

  • Must be able to bend and crawl for 7+ hours per shift

  • Must be able to stand for 6+ hours per shift

  • Must be able to walk for 6+ hours per shift

  • Must be able to reach and grasp up to 6+ hours per shift
