Employee keep area around machines being loaded clean and neat. Hauls out racks and stack, tie, and pick up all material neatly in proper amounts and heights. Responsible to take care of all eggs stuck to flats. Keeps the eggs off the floor, watches for loss of good eggs in inedible, and keeps the machines from foaming. At the end of the day, make sure ALL buckets have been dumped.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Loading of eggs onto lines.
Rinsing, sanitizing and assisting USDA with any sanitation issues.
Stocking of supply cabinets
Filling of footbaths and sinks
Making A.R.U.’s are set up for production
Maintain a neat and clean environment
Rotate to various other positions in department.
Put proper labels on tubs.
Stack tubs of finished product on pallet correctly.
Understand dates, exp. & item numbers.
Adhere to safe work practices, follow GMP’s, maintain sanitary conditions and ensure that product quality is maintained. Report to management any conditions or practices that may adversely affect food safety, food quality or personnel safety.
Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
Ability to read a limited number of two-and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers.
Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in oral form.
Ability to deal with problems involving one concrete variable in standardized situations.
Ability to perform basic math skills.
Ability of work safely with chemicals.
Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
Must have a company forklift license.
Ability to work holidays, weekends and extended hours as needed.
- Ability to lift 50lbs. occasionally safely.
