This position is responsible to coordinating schedules for maintenance staff as well as preparing of work activities and monitor quality of work for maintenance staff.
Duties and responsibilities:
Schedules general maintenance staff.
Prepares work activities to make sure all resources are available prior to scheduling.
Writes requisitions for material and creating computerized work orders.
Provides for a safe work environment for all personnel.
Continually monitors quality of work on maintenance staff.
Assists in training advancing education and management of Maintenance Employees.
Insures LOTO (Lockout Tagout) and all other safety programs properly used and enforced at all time.
Responsible for electrical trouble-shooting.
Adheres to safe work practices, follows GMP’s, maintains sanitary conditions and ensures that product quality is maintained. Reports to management any conditions or practices that may adversely affect food safety, food quality or personnel safety.
Adheres to all safety policies and procedures.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Preferred Education, Experience, and skills:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s.
Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume and distance.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Good communication skills, work ethics and attitude.
Good technical skills to cover all areas.
Capable of safely lifting 75 lbs. on occasion.
Ability to work in cold, wet, noisy, dusty and humid environments.
